Hi! I’m Luca

I'm a Seattle-based event and documentary photographer with a deep love for storytelling and human connection. My journey with photography began early, but it truly took shape while studying Interdisciplinary Visual Arts at the University of Washington. During my time there, I also worked as a staff photographer for The Daily, the university’s student-run newspaper, where I sharpened my skills covering everything from campus events to breaking news and student life. That experience, paired with my academic studies, helped me build a strong foundation in visual storytelling and adaptability behind the lens.

Over the years, photography has taken me all over the world—from colorful cities in India, to quiet villages in Myanmar, to bustling towns and countrysides across Europe, and even to the land down unda’...I also lived in Hanoi, Vietnam for 8.5 years, where I immersed myself in international life and deepened my photographic practice by documenting everyday moments, cultural shifts, and dynamic communities across Southeast Asia. I’ve learned that the most meaningful images often come from being fully present and paying attention.

Whether I’m documenting an event in Seattle or capturing life abroad, my goal is always to tell honest, human-centered stories.

While my foundation is in documentary and event photography, I’m also flexible and experienced in creating more structured work—like posed portraits and product shoots. I enjoy switching gears and collaborating with clients on creative direction, lighting, and styling to bring their vision to life in a polished, intentional way.

Seattle is home, and I’m proud to be part of its creative community. But I’m always looking for new stories to tell and new places to explore—whether across town or across the globe. I approach every project with curiosity, respect, and a commitment to authenticity. I’m looking forward to connecting and taking photos for future clients—whether you're planning something big, small, or somewhere in between.
